Loner Mobile fits into a lone worker’s routine and replaces productivity-draining check-in procedures. Unlike some competitive smartphone apps that only call a buddy list, Loner Mobile alerts monitoring personnel who can make a difference through an empowered, pin-point emergency response to the employee’s location. Prior to entering a site, building or client’s home, lone workers can send location-based notes to monitoring infrastructure that provide valuable context surrounding their location, activities and risk level. PRECISE INDOOR LOCATION IDENTIFICATION Inside or around certain buildings or pieces of equipment, GPS signals can be degraded, leading to imprecise reported locations that are insufficient to locate employees during an emergency response. In such circumstances, every second counts and time wasted searching for someone could mean the difference between rescue and recovery. This challenge is handled by our Location Beacons — augmenting location transmissions where GPS alone may not be sufficient. Installed inside and around facilities, the beacon transmits location signals for proximity detection to our safety monitoring devices.

The battery is rechargeable (up to 75 hour battery life) and the rugged casing is IP67 rated for use in harsh environmental conditions. SoloProtect
ID TAG with TWO-WAY VOICE The Identicom 977 introduces upgraded 3G technology, auto two-way voice communication for Man-Down alerts and a new Chaperone feature for greater functionality. The 977 retains its primary function of being a lone worker safety device used in risky situations, but, with SoloProtect Chaperone, users have an additional layer of comfort for non-alarm scenarios. SoloProtect Chaperone reassures users they are not alone by providing accompaniment in non-alarm type situations. Activate Chaperone by pushing the multi function button labeled ‘2’ that sits behind the ID badge. Chaperone opens a two-way voice call to the Emergency Dispatch Center and is intended for use in situations where a user may feel slightly uncomfortable (walking to a vehicle at night, for instance) and would feel more at ease if a SoloProtect operator were on the line with them. Chaperone is for non-alarm situations and is not to be used where apparent risk is evident or suspected from past experiences and where the raising of a more discreet red alert is more appropriate. In addition to the new Chaperone feature, the Identicom 977 is equipped with 3G technology and automatic initiation of a two-way voice call when a Man-Down alert is activated. |
